I'm 16 weeks today, and apparently I'm no longer having a baby; I'm making guacamole. Either one sounds good to me, although I think some people would be disappointed if the baby came out green and wrinkly.
Things are still chugging right along here. I'm getting a little more energy, and still no morning sickness. I feel so lucky to have been spared that loveliness. I'm in that really annoying stage where my regular clothes aren't really fitting anymore, but my belly isn't quite big enough for most maternity stuff. So I've been wearing a lot of stretchy pants or jeans held closed with a rubber band. Sexy, no?
I also feel like I'm in a weird stage where I should be doing more to prepare (I think "they" call it nesting). But then I think it's too soon and plus we don't even know the gender yet.
So it's all a bit of trying to take things slow and enjoy the ride. Lord knows this is the calm before the storm!
Hi Jen! Glad to hear things are going well. I just wanted to pass along that Kim used a Bella Band once her regular pants started getting tight, and continued to wear those pants almost the whole time (though you must remember she delivered at 31 weeks) It basically holds your pants up without having to fasten them. She said it worked great. They sell them at Target (as well as many other places) and come in white, black and tan, though I think Target may not have the tan. Try one on and see if you like it!

Awesome! I am 16 weeks along also! I am always telling my husband the fruit size that the baby is compared to. I also wear bella bands and they help wear your regular clothes alot longer. Got any fav names yet?
